About Us

lifespark. — Bandfoto

lifespark. are a band from Koblenz, Germany, with a foot in two worlds: the weight of alternative rock and post-hardcore on one side, a pop songwriter's ear for a hook on the other. Big choruses, heavy guitars, breakdowns that hit — and always a melody you take home with you. The name says it best. A spark can turn into something that lasts: an everglow, a light for anyone who feels lost but isn't ready to give up on themselves. And that's really what the band is chasing every night — a room, just for one evening, where everyone belongs, wherever they came from.

Their debut album Everglow (out September 11, 2026, on Uncle M / Golden Tides) is where that idea lands in full. However loud it gets, the record keeps looking for what sits underneath — the self-doubt, and the nerve it takes to become someone new.

You can hear the range across the singles. “Last Parade” (feat. Philip Strand of NORMANDIE) is a proper release valve, and the feature isn't random: the two bands go back to a shared run on tour with Our Last Night. “Awake” (feat. HIMITZU) runs 90s anime openings straight into modern rock. And “Repainting” gets personal — inspired by the acclaimed role-playing game Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, with the whole crowd singing the choruses back.

Live is where lifespark. made their name. Caliban pulled them in to open the Dystopia club tour on short notice back in 2022, and in 2024 they went out on Our Last Night and Normandie's full European run. Along the way they've supported We Came As Romans, Hands Like Houses, Escape The Fate and Rain City Drive, played DoKomi and Green Juice Festival, and they're off to NipponCon in 2026 — the same year they hit the road across Europe with Acres.

Everglow is a lot more than a debut. It's a band saying exactly what it's about: music that connects, that gives you something to hold onto, that sticks around long after the last note — and pulls a room full of strangers together for one night.

“I grew up on music that helped me find myself and got me through my darkest hours — and for the first time, I feel ready to pass that on. More than anything, I want people, whatever their age, to walk away feeling that not everything is lost — and that they're never completely powerless.”

— David Lukacs, lifespark. vocalist
